Every Heavenly Flame candle is thoughtfully handcrafted to create a beautiful, luxurious fragrance experience. Proper candle care helps ensure a clean, even burn while allowing you to enjoy your candle at its best.
Before Every Burn
Trim Your Wicks
Before each burn, trim both wicks to approximately ¼ inch. Keeping your wicks properly trimmed helps promote an even flame and reduces excess soot and mushrooming.
The First Burn
Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface of the candle during your first burn. This helps establish an even melt pool and promotes consistent burning throughout the life of your candle.
Avoid extinguishing the candle too early during its first burn whenever possible.
While Burning
Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, children, pets, and anything flammable.
For the best experience:
- Burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time.
- Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, and debris.
- Never move or handle the candle while the wax is melted or the vessel is hot.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
After Each Burn
Gently extinguish the flame and allow the wax to cool completely before handling your candle or replacing the lid.
Once cooled, trim the wicks again before your next burn.
When to Stop Burning
For safety, discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Do not burn the candle all the way to the base.
